Introduction to the Adventure Station
To provide a curriculum that is new and exciting for Children’s Ministry. The sessions are adaptable for Vacation Bible School, Day Camps, or Community Bible Clubs for Children. The resource is user friendly with life applications. The curriculum provides for every learning type. Each session includes: one Bible story with a life application, one memory verse, arts and crafts, recreation ideas, and a snack that the children create for themselves. The curriculum can be used with combined ages 6-11 in pods or family groups, or you may form age specific classes. The curriculum is designed for maximum creativity and versatility.

How to use Adventure Station
The basic theme for all sessions is obedience. The children will follow the adventures in the individual stories to find the outcomes and will discover how to apply God’s word to their lives. They will be encouraged to think creatively. Even though the sessions build on each other, a child can miss a session or sessions and not feel lost or left out. There is always room for new friends at Adventure Station.

There are four sessions included in the curriculum. Each session is designed for a two hour time period. If you have less time to achieve the goals of the session you can choose to change the time allotments or delete an activity. Each session has opening and closing times that are used to connect the sessions. These times are used to compare and contrast the stories of the different sessions. Within each session there are 5-6 activities such as, Story, Snack Preparation, Recreation, Snack break, and Crafts.

All sessions have the same format, but you may change the progression of the activities to suit your particular needs. If you are working with a small group, one or two teachers can easily manage guiding the group through all activities. For larger groups, you may choose to enlist more teachers. You may choose to have each activity located in its own room if you have the space. Realize though that moving children from room to room will take some time. For very large numbers of children, you may create a rotating schedule to move children through each activity.
